Summer, 2017. Working as The Players’ Tribune staff editor, I edited a short series sponsored by Gatorade called “The Loss.” Featuring interviews with Nicolas Mahut and Gordon Hayward, we displayed that, for some, a tremendous loss can be the best motivator. “The Loss” with Nicolas Mahut includes an original composition by myself having been inspired by the great IBM campaign collaboration with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, “US Open Sessions.”
